Please wrap long lines when sending messages; they are distracting to
read.  The following command line works for me:

gpp -Wall -O -g -o stringe.exe stringe.cc -lgpp

You can take out the first three parameters; they just add debugging and
warning information.

If you followed the recommendation in the readme for gcc 2.8.0 to delete
the [gcc] and [gpp] sections from your DJGPP.ENV, you may have
inadvertently caused problems.  Try restoring those sections from
djdev201.zip.
