I looked into it, and think that at least a useful subset of Guile can be
built for DJGPP.  Unfortunately, a lot of things have come up, and I decided
that I couldn't do it a few minutes at a time.  I've sort of put it off until
at least mid summer (if then).  

Guile 'snapshots'  a fairly rapidly moving target. I subscribed to the Guile 
mailing list for a while, and it is rather active.  However, the last 
release version has been the same for nearly a year, and appears to
have a good many features.
