Hi,
I'm a newbie to DJGPP. Sorry for asking this kind of lame
question.
I had downloaded the libsocket-0.6.zip. I unzip it and try to
install it. However, the following came up in the dos prompt (i'm using
win95 osr2),

make.exe[1] : Entering directory 'c:/ziptem~1/libsoc~1.6/src'
makefile : 35 : .depend : No such file or directory (ENOENT)
make.exe[1] : *** No rule to make target ' .depend' . Stop.
make.exe[1] : Leaving directory 'c:/ziptem~1/libsoc~1.6/src'
make.exe : *** [library] Error 2

But i already check there's a .depend file in that directory. When i
read the FAQ, it said I have to anable long file name to do it. I'm
just wondering if i'm using long file name in dos or not. If I'm
already using long file name, what is the problem and how can I install
it?

Thank you very much for answering my questions (^.^)

Chris
