Correct.  To clarify:

1. delorie.com has a very strict anti-spam filter on its SMTP port.
   It's pretty good at telling spam from not-spam.

2. The mail-news gateway has an additional keyword-based anti-crap
   filter, which simply does not pass messages that meet its criteria.

3. No attempt is made to retroactively cancel newsgroup postings.

4. I get copies of each message that is blocked so that I can ensure
   it doesn't start blocking lots of useful messages.

If you have any specific questions about these, please ask me
privately - the djgpp newsgroup isn't the right place to discuss
anti-spam measures.
