There is DFE, a Windows95 front-end for DJGPP. I don't know how "good" it is 
since I've not tried it yet. Judging from the screen shot, I may have a look

Its too bad that you are having problems with RHIDE. I have had no problems, 
even running in a Win95 window. Very stable. Perhaps you do not have the 
latest version?
