I would also suggest to compare the built-in specs with the one which 
comes with djdev, in case GCC 2.8.0 needs some special new settings 
there.  ("strings gcc.exe" should be enough to see what's in the internal 
specs file.)

Robert, how would you suggest to solve this best?
