Of course.  DJGPP runs in 32-bit protected mode, which requires some
form of host software to achieve this from 16-bit real mode MS-DOS. 
'readme.1st' and the FAQ discuss this fact in detail.  And if you pay
close attention to the error message the programs print, you even see
what free program you can download to fix it!
