That was a colossal blunder prompted by an attempt to get a C9X-compliant
compiler. Alpha-test software is not my idea of fun stuff to work with.

The old version of Make seems to be working quite well. What did 3.76.1
fix that I should be aware of? I have subscribed to Simtel MSDOS cd-rom
from Walnut Creek. I am working with a 28.8kb modem and America Online
which, together, makes downloading as slow as a pushcart. The cd-rom
has the correct version of DJGPP and GNU utilities that included version
3.75 of Make.

Using the 2.01 version of DJGPP has fixed the problem. Thanks for the
directions concerning redir.

Where is is.elta.co.il?
