What a version of RHIDE you are using?

Can you give us a short!!! example which gives you the
same problem? Important here would be in addition to
the code the name of the file, how you compiled it and
how you linked it.

But under DJGPP!!
DJGPP is tolerant enough to support both styles of slashes.

At first: RHIDE has nothing to do with this. It is the DJGPP
libc library. The next: Why do you need this so hard? As far
as I know, DOS understands also "/" in path-names.
