I have found heaps of online tutorials on the net one of the best sites
http://www.swcp.com/~dodrill/index.html which I mentioned in my last
post and
has Tutorials on C, C++, Pascal, and others I only read the C one but it
showed
me the basics very clearly.  Another place you can try is
ftp://rtfm.mit.edu/pub/usenet/news.answers/C-faq/learn-c-cpp-todaywhich
has a
FAQ listing all the C and C++ tutorials available on the net.
