That's now really funny and even when the gcc 2.8.0 port is available
only since some few days some users have the time to download it and
install it but have not the time to read the README's. What do you think
how long it took me to write it. I think it's fair enough to point you
simply to the README.DJGPP wich comes with gcc 2.8.0 and read there the
part about the problems with long filenames when running under W95,
which
I can assume here only from your wording about "folders".

Of course it is able. Simply do a

SET LFN=y

before you compile and it should work (or install gcc like mentioned
in the README)

Probably the "serachpath" to the README. So here it is:
