Any Unix platform for which a port of the GNU compiler and tools exists
is capable of supporting C, C++, and any other tools and languages that
are a part of the GNU project. It's simply a question of locating the
appropriate sources, downloading them, configuring them for your target
machine, and building them. The available features would be whatever is
in the versions of the packages that you downloaded. The main download
site for all GNU software is ftp://ftp.gnu.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu/, but
there are many mirror sites.

If your Unix system has gcc (the GNU C compiler) installed, then it may
also have GNU C++ installed. To test this, try using 'g++' to compile a
program.

Most Unix systems come with proprietary C/C++ compilers; look in your
system man pages to learn more about them.

Please note that this is not an appropriate topic for this newsgroup,
which is specifically named comp.os.MSDOS.djgpp. There are many better
places to learn about Unix compilers.
