I've used the gdate program in djgpp/bin and decided to try and get a really informative human-readable date out of it with time. So as per documentation I used the +"%A %B" string as part of the date and got back nothing for output except B Y. I can have output with gdate +"%A" or gdate +"%B" and both are correct but combine them and you get nothing. Jude <dashiell AT clark DOT net>
