Which version of Emacs do you use?  The above does work for me in both
Emacs 19.34 and 20.2.  This bug was fixed in 19.34 and the latest
binary distribution available from the DJGPP archives doesn't have it.
If you use an old port of 19.34 or older versions, or if you compiled
Emacs 19.34 yourself from the original GNU sources, then you could see
this problem.  Please see if you need to upgrade.
