That is correct. It isn't possible to mix 16 and 32 bit DPMI programs
(this is specified by the standard), so you cannot run these Borland
tools from inside a djgpp program like redir.

Probably never. Even if someone was to spend the time needed to add
16 bit support into cwsdpmi, it still wouldn't be possible from most
other DPMI servers (eg. win95) so that would be quite a futile effort.
