ahh, makes sense. i got the sources, plus bash and friends, and even
though so far i've recompiled only binutils, it seems to work much
better! thanks!

on a different topic, bash is incredible! i'm never going back to
command.com!!! :)

ah, didn't intend to offend! but i heard of too many cases of spammers
