This would only be the probable cause if you could find other programs 
compiled with DJGPP that have the same effect.  Otherwise, I would first 
look into possible bugs in your program.  Some bugs are only visible in 
specific environments, so it might well be that it wil have different 
effects on Windows and on DOS.
