Most people don't recompile RHIDE themselves though.

I'd like to second this. The IDEGC.EXE runs perfectly (I think) in W95
and does what Wensley describes in DOS:
Page faults occur continuously; considering the core dump info ;), more
in particular the value in ESP, they probably occur recursively from
within the routine that produces the trace-back.

The precompiled RHIDE.EXE runs perfectly, euh..., well, almost
perfectly.

IIRC I was able to recover my session by CTRL+C.

I used djdev201, gdb416s, rhide14s and the right tv as source code.
