That is because you didn't grab the palette. The bitmap and palette data
are stored separately, because typically you will have many hundreds of
bitmaps that are all sharing a single palette. You need to create a
palette object (Object/New/Palette) and then grab your color table into
it.

There is an edit box at the top of the grabber screen labelled
"Header:". Type force.h into that space, save out the file, and the
header file will be generated for you.

Imagine that some people started going around throwing paint balls at
everyone they passed on the streets. This would be obnoxious and
antisocial, and I think you would probably become very angry about it.
You could avoid the problem by just staying indoors all the time, but I
find it hard to imagine that anyone would seriously consider that as a
good solution to the problem!

Spam email is just the same. It is a horrible thing, but is it really
worth punishing yourself and the whole rest of the world in order to
avoid it? It hardly seems fair to just duck out of the way and leave the
real problem for other people to deal with, when you could be trying to
actually do something to stop it...

Sorry. But those anti-spam addresses really annoy me :-)
