first, some humor:

Arthur experienced that dull throbbing sensation just behind the
temples that was a hallmark of so many of his conversations with Ford.
His brain lurked like a frightened puppy in its kennel. Ford took him by
the arm.
"An S.E.P.," he said, "is something that we can't see, or don't see,
or our brain doesn't let us see, because we think that it's somebody
else's problem. That's what S.E.P. means. Somebody Else's Problem. The
brain just edits it out; it's like a blind spot.

from Life, The Universe and Everything by Douglas Adams.

now, let me come to the point. this problem that you are facing is
_your_problem_. you are asking for help from others. therefore, it is up
to you, and in your interest, to provide a description of your problem
that imposes the least cost on others. i don't think many in this ng
have time to manually decode several units, try to compile and link your
code, and solve your problem for you. i am not sure, but i think you
posted several pieces between 150-350 lines. this ng is also reflected
to a mailing list, and i don't think you are creating much sympathy by
making people download tons of encoded stuff. not to mention the fact
that DJ pays for that wasted bandwidth. (hmmm ... i realize this
argument could very well be used against me too.)

a good way to get fast and high quality advice is to provide the
shortest possible piece of code that still exhibits the problem in ASCII
format, together with a description of your setup. that requires some
work on your part in terms of narrowing things down, instead of turning
the situation into an S.E.P.
