Groff is a large package, but it is only needed to display unformatted man
pages.  All man pages which come with DJGPP binary releases of ported
software (v2gnu/*b.zip) include formatted pages which have been already
passed through Groff.  To read these, you only need Less (in addition to 
the `man' program itself).
