1) Try calling RHIDE with -G 1
2) Do you have a VESA card?
3) Are you setting the mode using BIOS?
4) Can you install an Hercules monitor/card to yourr PC?

1) Other applications can do it in your system?
2) Do you have the original drivers of your card installed? (The ones with W95 
aren't so good, the ones in Direct X can fail, M$ warns about it).
3) How did you configured GRX? (board, etc).

Your configuration (that includes the fact that you are using Loose 95).
