I am willing to do this having merged ASPI support into an earlier
version
of GNU tar under DJGPP 1.12; I was starting from a different base,
however. Although
the code I ported was for a 16-bit DOS C compiler, I don't recognise the
name Les Miskell.
It won't be soon, though, as my SCSI machine still has DJGPP 1.12 and
the machine
on which I use V2 has no SCSI devices. So, if anyone else feels they are
ready to
do the work before Xmas, don't let me stand in your way.
