I think you want to say that the compiler takes too much time, no?
If that's the point look in the FAQ (is in the same place you got the rest) 
you'll find some hints about how to configure your system for maximun speed.
Of course that djgpp needs more time to compile than BC in small machines.

Try NASM and JAS these assemblers use intel syntax (look links in my home page, 
see the signature for it).

Well, the current version of RHIDE supports the following:
i( and then Ctrl-Space and you get:
if ()
  {
  }
else
  {
  }
You can define the triggers and the code generated.
I'm working on macros so you'll have the same your TSR does, but you must wait 
a little for it.
