I appreciate your effort  Gurunandan but I'm affraid the topic is a little more 
complex. As I told before I made a converter from the GRX fonts (bit packed 
ones) to Allegro so I know how to decode them. The problem is that for Allegro 
we need a lot of special features like clipping. That isn't too hard to make 
but takes a lot of time to write/optimize/test. I personally don't have the 
time for it perhaps somebody in the group have it.
I agree that CMR fonts are very good ones, if I remmember well they are the 
defaults in TeX and my manuals looks great when I use TeX.
