Hi,

I usually hang out more at the alt.binaries.pictures.fractals newsgroup,
but I thought I'd mention that I've written a fractal generator in C
using DJGPP, Allegro, and a DEGUI for Allegro.  The source code is
included and is free.  The URL is
http://home1.gte.net/itriazon/Talis/talis.htm  Its kind of an awkward
program to learn and operate, but it does work.  It can zoom into a few
different fractal types, and can save images in 8-bit PCX format.

Any suggestions for speed-ups or improvements are welcome.
