Does this mean that you are working on the secondary screen 
before starting RHIDE? (if yest, please do not so).

I had never problems with it.

One thing which I can imagine is, that you have epxlicitely included
the B000-B7FF memory range in the emm386 line in your config.sys
file.

Or an other problem might be, that your card is not full register
compatible to an MDA card (I'm writing in RHIDE directly to the
ports of the card).
