This is to announce that a DJGPP port of GNU Make version 3.76.1 has
been uploaded to the DJGPP archives and should be available from your
nearest SimTel.NET mirror:

Beginning with this release, the official GNU Make distribution
supports DJGPP out of the box; I just compiled it and packaged the
sources in .zip format.

The most significant DOS-specific changes in this release:

    - You only need standard DJGPP tools to build it (no Sed is
      required).

    - The DOS-specific aspects have been incorporated into the
      official documentation.

Please read the file NEWS for other user-visible changes.

The file README.DOS is a highly-recommended reading, especially if you
haven't used the DJGPP port of GNU Make 3.75.
