I have 16MB RAM/808MB WinSuck9$ machine but in DOS box it reports closer
to the actual memory installed (14MB) and the same mem free as RHIDE.
I also get the correct HD size, free, & used. In a *cleaner DOS* F8,
option 6 Command Prompt Only DOS boot, I get 12MB installed and 9MB free
though it should say 14MB free and 16MB installed. I also noticed that
WinSuck9$ reports 15MB installed though I think it is because I have 1MB
Smartdrv Disk Cache in WinSuck9$ & I have a 2MB Disk Cache in DOS which
would make the forementioned 14MB installed report running in the DOS
box correct. In either the *cleaner DOS boot* and the DOS box in
WinSuck9$, I always get the correct HD characteristics, which are
808MB Total, 213MB Free, & 595MB Used.
