I renamed it.  I did the test on Windows 95, where the window title
shows me the name of the program that runs, and I actually saw Emacs
run Gunzip.

I tested this in Emacs 20, but that should not matter, since nothing
has changed in that part (even the bug with the compressed info files
support was there until I fixed it).

What about Gunzip you used?  What version is that, what's its size and
time stamp?
