I'm not sure if I did, but I tried it now  and it doesn't help.

When I compress with `gzip -9 -c gcc.inf >gcc.inz', the first node which is
garbled is "Invoking GCC"-"Submodel Options"-"RS/6000 and PowerPC Options".
This changes with the compression level, so your results may vary.
