Subject: Problems with fileutils with Novell 4.01 and Windows 95 LFN

I'm experiencing the following problems with a Netware drive which I have
full read/write/create/change/delete/browse access:

Windows 95 is 4.00.950a.

With LFN=y

F:\Work\TCE\Retomada>mv mak* rcs
z:/djgpp/bin/mv: rcs/makecron: No such device (ENODEV)
z:/djgpp/bin/mv: rcs/makefile: No such device (ENODEV)
z:/djgpp/bin/mv: rcs/makemost~: No such device (ENODEV)
z:/djgpp/bin/mv: rcs/makepesc: No such device (ENODEV)
z:/djgpp/bin/mv: rcs/makeplot: No such device (ENODEV)
z:/djgpp/bin/mv: rcs/makeplot~: No such device (ENODEV)
z:/djgpp/bin/mv: rcs/maketce: No such device (ENODEV)
z:/djgpp/bin/mv: rcs/maketce1: No such device (ENODEV)

F:\Work\TCE\Retomada>cp mak* rcs
z:/djgpp/bin/cp: rcs/makecron: No such device (ENODEV)
z:/djgpp/bin/cp: rcs/makefile: No such device (ENODEV)
z:/djgpp/bin/cp: rcs/makemost~: No such device (ENODEV)
z:/djgpp/bin/cp: rcs/makepesc: No such device (ENODEV)
z:/djgpp/bin/cp: rcs/makeplot: No such device (ENODEV)
z:/djgpp/bin/cp: rcs/makeplot~: No such device (ENODEV)
z:/djgpp/bin/cp: rcs/maketce: No such device (ENODEV)
z:/djgpp/bin/cp: rcs/maketce1: No such device (ENODEV)

With LFN=n, the utilities work as expected.

I arrived at this trying to pinpoint why RCS 5.7 patch level 13 does not
work in our installation.

I'm missing some posts on this list, so maybe this is a know problem/issue,
perhaps with a known solution, but cannot find any reference to it.

Does anybody with a similar setup may check this behaviour?

TIA
