As mentioned already by others, look at SET's page for an other
malloc.

And in general: The malloc function has nothing to do with
the compiler, it is part of libc and since I'm not using
that incompatible commercial compilers, I cannot say how
they work.

You can test it yourself by purchasing them and try.
