Maybe you meant above version 1.2 and I remember that there was
a version of RHIDE which had a bug with an unvisible mouse
(only not visible but it worked, which could be checked by 
clicking somewher).

If you are using version 1.2 I recommend you to get version 1.3
which has "only" a little bug with compiling files with some
suffixes (look at the RHIDE moe page for a description of that
bug).
