I'm a little bit confused by your description so I don't know
exactly what you want to get.

If you modfiy any of the opened editors in a RHIDE session
and you hit F9 or Ctrl+F9 RHIDE recompiles and/or links your
program if that file belongs to your project.

If you do a Compile/Link step manually, then RHIDE thinks your
project is up to date and does not perform any modification
checks on the source or object files (except you modify something
after this step).

But when I remember correct, your original question was, that
you run your program which modifies some of the files which
are currently opened and after exitng your program you expect
that the files are reload. I haven't tried it now, but this should
work.

Or at last, we are misunderstanding again and in that case please
try to describe your problem a little bit better so I can
understand it (remember that English is not my first language).
