I'm programming in DJGPP, using allegro, and I have this problem:

Before every write to screen i have to turn off mouse cursor and after
write turn on. But mouse cursor is blinking when i make many accesses
to video memory !! Can I change mouse_buffer (if exists something like
that)
where is written background of mouse cursor, something what is under this
cursor. Can I change it and write there "NEW" background (i know what will
be there; under it). So I will make following: Change mouse_buffer (see
above).
Write some thing to screen (mouse is still turned on). And continue work.
(move mouse cursor, etc.) Is this possible? Can it resolve my problem?
Shawn?
I know that in Allegro 2.2 no, but maybe in next release.. Shawn, try it
and
write me (mdvorsky AT dodo DOT sk) what you find out, please. Thanks a lot.

PS: Sorry for my english.
