Please read the file README.dos in the Emacs installation directory.
It explicitly tells you to use an unzip program that supports long
filenames when you unzip the distribution on Windows 95.

To make Emacs work again with long filename support, the easiest way
is to delete the entire Emacs installation and unzip the files again,
this time using the right unzip program.
