Tero Parvinen, Shawn Hargreaves, and Tom Novelli are co-operating
on the addition of GUS support, and the appropriate additional
functionality to support it well. I heard a bit of their initial
discussion (I was planning on doing some simple GUS support before
Tero came in), and from what I got, it should be absolutely 
incredible. Expect support in the next release of Allegro.
