Is anyone porting Allegro to make use of the DirectX DLLs?  What compiler
will it use? (VC5, CB, Delphi) Does it really matter?  I mean once it is
ported to win95 it doesn't take much to port to to ther rest of its
compilers.  

If you respond, do you think the porting could be a group effort?  A site
could be set up to organinze the project a little more.  Maybe to assign
work or credit?
