I'm only waiting for the final message from Ian that my patches
for binutils 2.8.1 will be applied finally.

The problem until now was, that my letter to Richard Stallmann
with the copyright assignement (which is neccessary for huge
patches) was lost somewhere in the sky and I had to resent it
yesterday) and now I'm waiting ...


Because I do not want to make the same mistake like with 2.7
I will release the binutils only if all my patches are
accepted by the maintainer.
