Examine the libc docs for _go32_dpmi_lock_code(), _go32_dpmi_lock_data()
and the more general function, __dpmi_lock_linear_region(). These items
have brief examples; look at any library that installs handlers, such as
mkkbd3 or libkb, to see how they are used in practice.
As stated, DJGPP allows function pointers; it's a requirement of ANSI
