How is the data stored in Allegro's BITMAP type? I know that it is
accessed by bitmap->line[y][x], but I have a problem:
I'm using the Plush 3D graphics library, which renders to a raw
framebuffer (a chunk of memory). I want to draw using Allegro's
graphics modes (SVGE, MODE-X, etc). At the moment, I have to take the
data in the framebuffer and copy it to an Allegro bitmap which is, of
course, surprisingly slow. Is there anyway, I can copy a pure chunk of
data (in this case, the data in the framebuffer) directly to an Allegro
bitmap, then blit the bitmap to the screen?
