That's very interesting! I'm not sure I've ever seen a card using IRQ
11, before, so you could well have hit on a problem with my SB setup
code (btw. what breed is your soundcard?).

If you are willing to put some time into investigating this, I'd be
delighted to suggest some useful tests that you could do. For starters,
it would be useful if you could run the Allegro sound setup program (if
you don't have this, I'll email you a copy), and see whether it is the
digital or MIDI sound that is screwing up, and whether it plays garbage
all the time or only when a sound is triggered...
