I don't think this is due to typing errors. I think it is because his
client supports some sort of encoding for 8-bit characters according
to ISO 8859-1, which converts every 'non-portable' character to a
'='-sequence. In addition, the subject mentions the encoding so clients
can decode it if they want/can.

But I'm very off-topic, I guess :-)
