You know, this begs the question: /Could/ Allegro have been used to
make a Quake-alike game?  I haven't heard of any Quake clones coming
out under the GPL, but are Allegro's graphic routines (the 3D routines
in particular) fast enough to handle a Quake environment?  I'd like to
think they are...
