All that topic with 'as' and 'pgcc' has nothing to do with a bug but
simply different configurations of both. The 'as.exe' replacement 
from the pgcc Homepage is meant to be used only when using pgcc. If
you use it with gcc distributed with DJGPP you will get probably 
slower code.
