Rispondo in italiano, tanto non credo che molta gente di madre lingua
inglese rispondera' a questa domanda. 
Dovresti dire cosa stai usando per i tuoi esperimenti grafici:
Allegro 2.2 ? Grx2.0 ? funzioni scritte da te ?
Allegro, per quanto ne so, non supporta ancora risoluzioni a 32 bit,
mentre per esperienza personale, grx20 so che funziona bene.
Sforzati di usare l'inglese la prossima volta...

English answer:

You should say which graphic library you are using. 
DJGPP itself doesn't come with graphics library they're "add-ons".
Are you using Allegro 2.2 ? Grx20 ? Graphics functions made by you ?

Allegro, as far as I know, doesn't support >=24bit depth. GRX does.
try using english next time, I've a bad english too!

BTW: what "volcandolo a la pantalla" means exactly ?
