Yesterday I tried it in both (W95 and raw DOS), and it worked!
I mean, I wrote a small program which uses FP. Then I set

set 387=n

The program worked.

rename emu387.dxe

The program failed with SIGNOFP.

But this does not solve the original problem (Sorry I forgot
the user who reported this) about debugging a program which uses
FP but has no FPU.

I tried in the last days already some hacks around this problem but
I found no way to debug a program which needs to get some signals.
