Chris, how far along are you, and are you making the source open? If you
have not coded yet and you'll leave the source open for general
contributions, I'll write a foundation for it and make that work, and
copyleft it. Then further development will be up to you and others.

It'll just handle the notes, but I'll leave plenty of room to extend it
without a lot of rewriting, and it should run anywhere Allegro does.
Why? Because I have a design for a sequencer (as of a year ago), but I
have another project that takes my time up.
