Have you tried RHIDE without Univbe?? (I know that this piece of
software is buggy because it does not handle all the standard
BIOS functions correct, and I use the specification from R. Brown's
Interrupt List).

And the next hint can be to use the '-G 1' switch for RHIDE, that means,
run RHIDE like:

rhide -G 1 ....
